Every Easter each member gets an easter egg June Sponsored Swim This is the chance for every swimmer to undertake a distance award anything from 5m to, well as much as you can manage 10,000m was last years highest distance which is 400 lengths! Its through this sponsored swim we raise money for a local charity and for the clubs christmas party. Sponsored Swim Update At our last sponsored swim 57 swimmers swam over 2666 lengths, thats over 35 miles, and we raised over £1,200 towards Club funds. Club Gala This is our only competative event when all members of any age and ability get the chance to compete against each other in a series of races and this year we are adding a twist to it with an obstacle race and the chance to win a trophy. Each swimmer also get a commemorative plaque. Dec Christmas Party Our annual christmas party, which all members are invited to is a traditional style party with party games, entertainment, tea, our legendary football game and a visit from Santa concludes the night. Club AGM Our AGM is held each year during May. All parents of members are invited to attend and details will be available in April, please ask on a monday night for full details.
